Tommy Hilfiger Tommy Girl – The Classic Freedom

Tommy Hilfiger Tommy Girl

Fragrance Review

, the first fragrance by , arrived on the market in 1995. After its huge success, it was only a question of time, until its feminine counterpart would appear. As a result, Tommy Girl was introduced in 1996, in the olfactory group of floral fruity and developed by perfumer . And in its 16 years of history, Tommy Girl has managed to stay on top of customers’ preferences because of the image portrayed: the modern young woman who is, above all, natural and independent. This was also visible in the video advertisement that featured a young woman, unbound by conventions and introduced the slogan for this perfume: “a declaration of independence”.

Tommy Girl is the type of well done fragrance that will attract you instantly, with one condition: you need to belong to the targeted age group (between 18 and 40 years). Based on simple ingredients for obtaining the maximum effect, Tommy Girl opens with a mix of citrus and floral accords, from with camellia and apple tree blossom; in the top notes there are also black currants present. For the middle notes, Calice Becker (who, by the way, is responsible for the majority of creations from By Killian) employed grapefruit and lemon, combined with honeysuckle, Lily, violet, Rose and mint. The effect is total. And, for adding style to the creation, leather, and cedar are included in the base notes, in contrast with the floral accords obtained from magnolia and jasmine.

The flask of Tommy Girl exhibits an interesting shape; the transparent glass is like a prism with rounded edges that puts the accent on simplicity and the that built the core values of Tommy Hilfiger’s image: freedom and independence.
