The notion of cologne reinvented by Thierry Mugler is caller Mugler Cologne and arrived on the market in 2001. This unisex citrus aromatic fragrance was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas and represents Thierry Mugler’s vision on a soap, discovered during one of his voyages to Morocco. This new image of the classic cologne is recreated using the ambiguity of a modern era. I tested Mugler Cologne 2 years ago, in 2010, and due tot the fact that I was not attracted by the idea of shared fragrances at that time, it never occurred that I might buy it. This scent is the type of clear, refreshing perfume that prepares you in the morning for facing the challenges of a new and busy day.

Mugler Cologne begins with an enchanting mixture of citrus and green accords in which the bergamot, neroli and petit grain are combined into offering you a shot of originality. Then, as these notes disappear in less than one hour, you will recognize the heart note of African orange flower, combined with something irreproducible, dubbed by Mugler the mysterious note “S”, which remains an undisclosed molecule. The base note contains solely white musk which remains in the air long enough to evoke an elegant style.

Mugler Cologne was presented in a bottle made from transparent glass, which reveals the green color of the liquid, all with elegant proportioned shapes. In the upper part, the flask is provided with an innovative double-speed spraying system. Benefiting from an impeccable smell and an elegant image, Mugler Cologne is the unisex scent to try, if you happen to look for shared fragrances.
