Fragrance Review

Lacoste, the French fashion house established in 1933 by Rene Lacoste and , presented in 2004 the fragrance , which benefited from a fine popularity. Five years and 4 flankers later (Touch of Sun, Touch of Spring and Dream of Pink from 2006, 2007 and 2008 respectively), in February 2009 Lacoste announced  a new addition to the line, called , a chypre fruity feminine fragrance. Aimed at the young women who have the audacity to feel romantic, this scent is the reinterpretation of the 2004 original and was announced as a permanent edition.

This new creation from Lacoste represents a tender combination of fruits and flowery accords with spicy notes of intoxicating orange and passion fruits. The opening of Love of Pink is built around notes of , passion fruit and . This fruity cocktail, announces the mid development, which features a blend of stephanotis (a flower renowned for its strong perfume) and magnolia. After a couple of hours, this construction dries down to a serene mixture of sweet vanilla, elegant cedar and white musk.

Having all these Lacoste editions associated every year with to the theme of pink, it’s hard to keep track of all, not to mention to test or employ. And the image of Love of Pink is no different from the previous ones. This time, the frosted glass with elegant curves comes in a shade of fuchsia that is complemented fine by the elegant transparent stopper.  The packaging box preserves the chromatic, with the name printed from the lower part and continuing in the upper side, where you may also find the company’s logo. The video advertisement, directed by Paul Gore is very joyful and mixes shades of pink to convey the message of a romantic perfume.
