Eau de Sport is a masculine aromatic fougere fragrance introduced by Lacoste in 1994 and apparently discontinued these days. Presented as a perfume dedicated to an active man, who wants, at the same time, to preserve an elegant style, Eau de Sport comes as the perfect solution, for this kind of dilemma.
Like the true classic fragrances from the ‘80’s and the early ‘90’s, the structure of this perfume employed a lot of ingredients, in order to come up with a creation imbued with clean, green and citrus accords.
As a result, Eau de Sports starts off with a mix of mandarin orange, lavender, mint, neroli, basil, lemon and bergamot, in which the final note is the most prominent. Then, as the top notes subside, the replacement comes in the shape of a green blend that features fir, clary sage, geranium, rose, jasmine, carnation and coriander. For the final part, this masculine fragrance brings forward a warmer and more personal facet, embodied by a concoction in which sandalwood is the star, offset by accords of Tonka bean, amber, patchouli musk, cedar and oakmoss, all wrapped in a sensual note of leather.
The flacon that holds Eau de Sport is dominated by a color scheme that mixes a deep shade of green and white. The bottle has rounded edges and is topped by a white stopper, acting as spraying mechanism as well. Right in the middle of the bottle, a label with the brand’s logo and the name of the perfume is present. Overall, Eau de Sport is a fragrance for the fans of active life and classic perfumes.
