Albeit is a fragrance introduced by Lacoste in 2011, Re/Fresh was not until recently considered by me for testing. This comes as more surprising, since the original to this flanker, Challenge (reviewed earlier on this blog), managed to produce me a pleasant surprise, being the type of interesting citrus aromatic scent among all the citruses that are flooding the market.
Anyway, since I tested recently Challenge Re/Fresh, I imagine you will find useful some of my opinions. This fragrance belongs to the aromatic spicy aimed at the dynamic man who does not feel afraid to compete in the game of life. In spite of the fact that Challenge Re/Fresh seemed potentially promising, I tested it first on the blotter. After a couple of minutes, I decided that it was OK to continue with spraying the scent on my wrist.
Challenge Re/Fresh opened with an interesting combination of birch and cardamom; the woody character of birch was sensed as more dominant. Later, in the mid development, the olfactory party arrived from the spicy combination of oregano and rosemary, meant to awake your senses. Finally, the trail leaves an elegant accord of patchouli combined with Tolu balsam. Even tough Challenge Re/Fresh is a well-behaved scent; I felt that it could have benefited from an additional booster.
The bottle that captures Challenge Re/Fresh is a re-interpretation of the original shape of Challenge, in which the handle of the tennis racket, that is the stopper exhibits a reversed chromatic. As a result, the white stopper that tops the transparent glass is adorned with the famous Lacoste logo that comes in black. The video advertisement features the American tennis player Andy Roddick in a construction that looks more convincing for me, compared to the original image of Challenge. Overall, this fragrance is ideal for spring time and summer period, whether or not you are accustomed with an life style.
