Peach Blossom arrived on the market in spring last year, as a flanker to 2010’s Hilfiger Woman. This new feminine fragrance introduced by Tommy Hilfiger comes as a limited edition (available in Europe, as an exclusivity of Douglas chain) and belongs to the floral fruity olfactory group.
Given that both my wife and I could be considered fans of the original fragrance (I bought Hilfiger Woman for her soon after its launch!), we were curious to sniff this re-interpretation, at the time we read the news. The conclusion subsequent to the logical test that followed: Peach Blossom is a pleasant feminine fragrance, in which the initial notes of citruses were replaced by white peach notes, thus rendering a perfect perfume for spring and summer time of the year.
On the official website, Peach Blossom is advertised as “a memorable scent for a modern romantic” and from the first notes of the perfume you are able to perceive the delicacy infused with sensuality. As a result, the scent begins with an intoxicating blend of bergamot, white peach, blackberry and cassis. Later, in the mid development, a floral facet is unveiled, represented by the combination of iris, mimosa and sweet vanilla. For conferring a warm and sensual character to the base, ingredients like musk, Tonka bean and coconut were mixed in the dry down.
The bottle that holds Peach Blossom is a replica of the original flask, which was introduced last year with Hilfiger Woman. The cute bow that adorns the bottle’s neck received some soft pink stripes now and is only available with the 50 ml bottle.
