Fragrance Review

Concentré D’Orange Verte is a unisex fragrance introduced in 2004 and developed by perfumer . Inspired by the 1979’s , this scent represents “an intense and invigorating freshness with a woody signature”, according to the description from the official website.

I managed to sample it several times, the most recent one being last summer in a Douglas store, and each time I was fascinated by the strong aroma of orange, persistent from the top notes until later in the base. The accord responsible for developing this refreshing aroma is the dominant note of orange, juxtaposed to a bunch of other ingredients.

The opening in Concentré D’Orange Verte is mixing citrus leaves, mint and orange leaves. Later, in no more than 20 minutes, the initial phase is vanishing while being replaced by a blend of , pulp and lemon pulp. This mid development sensation is very pleasant in case you love citruses, however of this olfactory note is not among your favorite better think twice, because there is plenty in the structure. For finishing this olfactory journey, everything dries down to a combination of patchouli, coumarin, cedarwood, dark leaves and sensual woods.

The bottle that holds Concentré D’Orange Verte exhibits the classic Hermès shape that resembles a parallelepiped is made of transparent glass and reveals a liquid with an incredible blue green shade. Fans of the Hermès shared fragrances, besides the usual enthusiast of citruses, will be delighted by this fragrance, as something special to share with your loved one.
