Gucci Pour Homme II – A Subtle Character

Gucci Pour Homme II_50ml

Fragrance Review

Coming after the success of 2003, II is a fragrance for men, introduced in 2007 and designed by perfumer . Since its apparition on the market I tested it and even thought of purchasing it, but the fact that I’m only managing to own a limited number of perfumes and the recent tendency in fashion for House prevented me from materializing my thought.

The opening of Gucci Pour Homme II is interesting and refreshing combining bergamot and violet leaf while the mid development has a pronounced spicy accord, obtained from pimento, cinnamon and black tea. The developed smell for this stage is perfectly combined to obtain an arousing sentiment, however not strong enough to be offensive. In the extreme dry down, your olfactory senses will be delighted by the myrhh, combined with Olive tree wood, and musk.

Gucci Pour Homme II is the type of that is appropriate for a business meeting, a character that is substantiated by the elegant bottle with rectangular shapes manufactured from thick glass, which are similar to a parallelepiped. The blue shade of the liquid reminds of the sea water, but is only a hint, because Gucci Pour Homme II has nothing to do with the group of scents inspired by water.

The video commercial features the Danish model , regarded as one of the best male models in the business, in a colorful story that exhibits the playful side of the fragrance. I would recommend Gucci Pour Homme II for a hot summer day, when you desire to be elegant, yet not to attract the attention upon yourself.
