Givenchy Hot Couture – A Glamorous Scent
Hot Couture from Givenchy is an oriental floral fragrance for women, introduced in 2000 and developed by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Jacques Cavallier. This scent is designed for the special woman who feels sexy and is incredibly charming. The appeal of this woman comes from the originality of the perfume’s formula.
Hot Couture is structured having the raspberry note as the dominant accord. The top notes include bergamot, orange and raspberry; the first impressions feel pleasant on the skin. Heart is the combination of spicy floral, with pepper, magnolia and vetiver. In the extreme dry down, the warm amber, elegant sandalwood and white musk create an olfactory experience that is quite unique. The development of the fragrance is full and round and the vetiver note employed in the middle confers it that originality mentioned earlier.
The woman that puts on Hot Couture transforms herself into a catwalk star; therefore this fragrance aims at bringing the fascination for fashion into the life of normal girls. The scent is presented in a bottle, designed by artist Serge Mansau, that evokes the perfection of female’s body, having instead of the sensual curves some perfectly cut edges; the transparent glass reveals a liquid with a pink color.
The face selected for the video advertisement is the Czech model and actress Eva Herzigová; the commercial features a story in which a dress haute couture is designed with the same nuance as the color of the liquid in the bottle.
