Being a representative of Calvin Klein’s extremely popular fragrances, Eternity for women was introduced in 1988, to celebrate the idea of matrimony and eternal love, according to official statements. And from the first smell, you can sense the green notes of this scent that makes an important move in determining you to fall in love with it eternally.
Eternity is built around the ideas of strong family values, filled with love and tranquility. The bottle design of this floral perfume exhibits straight lines, except the area of rims that are rounded, somehow suggesting that it should be easy to hold on to it, once you have it in your hand. The transparency accentuates the idea of a strong relationship between two lovers that have no secrets and share the details of their lives to each other.
Upon testing this scent on my wife’s skin and in my favorite Sephora store, it greeted me with the green and fresh citrus notes that were enchanting. I could also perceive a hint of freesia. Once the top notes evaporated, the heart delighted me with violet, lily, carnation and rose. I could sense that this was a cleverly made fragrance, the type that is almost disappeared nowadays, at least in Calvin Klein Fragrance Department, a thing that makes me sad. The creator, Sophia Grojsman has done her job beautifully; the final accords of sandalwood combined with amber and musk convinced me that Eternity belongs to the Calvin Klein classical scents, which alongside Obsession and Contradiction are enough to make history.
In my vision, Eternity embodies the young and beautiful woman, who has the power to stand by her man, faithful at all times, against the temptations. It is the ideal perfume if you want to project a good image of yourself.
