Intended as a new addition to the “Me” line that was inaugurated in 2008 with Incredible Me, “the seductive fragrance from the House of Escada” called Desire Me was presented in August 2009. This scent belongs to the floral fruity gourmand olfactory group and is “a powerful enchanting eau de parfum inspired by the uncontrollable desire a woman can provoke in a man, with a single look” (from the description on the official website).
Desire Me is intended for the young and modern woman who loves to be in the spotlight. The fragrance seduces and captivates with its elaborated gourmand accords composed of dark chocolate, tiramisu and coffee. The opening of Desire Me feels refreshing, with a citrus blend of mandarin orange and radiant bitter-sweet citruses. Then, as the initial notes fade away in half an hour, the mid development includes accords of peony and fresh green leaves. Finally, in the dry down, the structure is mastered with a combination of coffee, dark chocolate and sweet notes. The rich accords of dark chocolate are included in the base in order to leave a long lasting trail in your skin.
The bottle that holds the fragrance has the same shape as its predecessor; this time the stopper is colored in black and exhibits yellow-golden edges. The flask is shaped to symbolize the Escada logo, as an illustration of the brands tradition. The face selected for the ad campaign is the American actress and fashion model Olivia Wilde, who appears in a commercial directed by Brett Foraker, that emphasizes the seductive character of the fragrance. Overall, Desire Me is an interesting fragrance for the woman that produces a remarkable impression with her charms.
