Fragrance Review

The first perfume called , from the German fashion house with the same name was released in 1990 and reportedly it is currently under production. These days, some retailers call it Signature, while others mention the name Crystal, upon referring to it. Nevertheless, this is not the topic of this post, because today I am going to review by , a perfume arrived on the market in 2005, as a feminine developed by perfumer .

The olfactory construction of this fragrance highlights the fresh and green notes, with a touch of sweetness. As a result, the opening in Escada by Escada represents a mix of green accords, in which the note of cucumber fights for prominence. The listed top notes are bergamot, black currant, leafy greens, the already mentioned cucumber, lemon and sea breeze accord. Afterwards, the mid development puts emphasis on the floral face of Escada by Escada, with a composition that encompasses freesia, honeydew, magnolia, jasmine, muguet, rose, orange blossom and peony. At this point, the character of the fragrance remains light and fresh, until moving to a somewhat darker phase, announced by the alliance between amber and patchouli accords. The other listed base notes include sensual musk, nectarine, sweet vanilla, orris and sandalwood.

The flacon that holds Escada by Escada is a statement for the house’s involvement in the fashion business, with interesting rectangular lines highlighted by the transparency of the glass and the stopper and complemented by the pale green shade of the liquid. Overall, Escada by Escada is ideal for the women who enjoy their fragrance over fresh.
