Whenever I think of Dreaming from Tommy Hilfiger it brings me back happy memories, because this is a perfume that I bought for my wife as a Christmas present in 2009. The scent arrived on the market at the end of 2007, as a floral fruity fragrance, developed by perfumer Stephen Nilsen.
According to Tommy Hilfiger’s statement, the perfume is intended to appeal at “The Tommy girl grown up”, targeted between the age group of 18 to 30. And hopefully this new fragrance will convert her dreams into reality. The structure of this white floral is built around the accords of peach, which is developing pleasantly from the top notes until reaching base.
Dreaming opens on an intoxicating aroma of peach that lasts for about 20 minutes. Then, it is followed closely by a heart which encompassed freesia, tuberose and hibiscus. The sensation is very nice and quite enduring. In the final phase, the whole structure dries down to a mixture of white woods and orris.
The bottle that holds Dreaming is made from a transparent glass and topped by a rectangular cap. The liquid is pale pink and the bottle is adorned with a red collar. The advertising campaign features the Swedish model Mona Johannesson in a short film that brings to mind the classic charisma found in the old movies. Dreaming is a clean fragrance all the way, being the perfect illustration of a feminine and romantic fragranc, developed for a young girl who is both sensual and charming.
