Light Blue is a very popular women’s fragrance from Dolce&Gabbana, introduced at the beginning of this century and equally admired by both public and critic. Developed by perfumer Olivier Cresp, this fragrance was launched in 2001 and belongs to the floral fruity olfactory group. The image of Light Blue suggests a refreshing perfume that brings to mind an invigorating bath in the sea, underneath the summer sun.

This creation from Olivier Cresp opens with citrus-floral accords of Sicilian Lemon, Bellflower, cedar and . Then the aroma diffuses slowly and the notes are replaced by the combination of jasmine and rose with bamboo. The dry down encompasses elegant aromas of amber, musk and cedar. The dominant notes come from Sicilian lemon, and apple, which make Light Blue the ideal choice for summer days. Moreover, this perfume is very feminine, being suitable for a young age group.

Light Blue comes in a bottle that encompasses the soft blue color of , which alongside the constitute the source of inspiration for this fragrance. The opaque flask features the Dolce&Gabbana logo and the name of the perfume in the upper side, while the stopper sits on a silvery rim of approximately the same size. The carton is made from a suede-like fabric that complements adequately the image.
