Fragrance Review

Eau de Parfum Intense is a darker and stronger version of Eau de Parfum, in fact a to the perfume launched in 2008 by the French fashion design house. Arrived on he market in 2009, the same year with another variation of the already mentioned creation,  Eau de Parfum Intense belongs to the olfactory group and, according to the description from the official website, is a perfume in which “the rose become enchanting and imperial for winter 2009”.

The recurrent theme in Chloe Eau de Parfum Intense reveals a more sensual rose, showcased by a clever combination of special notes that deliver a perfume with style, perhaps one of the most pleasant in this series. This fragrance begins on a spicy accord of pink pepper, which is meant to make you alert for the upcoming phases. After this invigorating opening, the mid development kicks in, in the shape of a blend that is dominated by the accords of rose, offset by another notes like magnolia, cedar and sandalwood. Following no more than 2 hours, the construction of Chloe Eau de Parfum Intense turns to a sensual facet, thank to the accords available in the dry down: Tonka bean, amber and honey.

Just like an intense blossom in the magnificent rose garden of Chloe, this perfume comes with a slightly modified image. The lines of the original flacon were preserved, except this time the liquid has a color that looks like honey and on the bottle’s neck is hanging a dark grey ribbon, instead of the beige shade from the first perfume. The image of the cube-shaped bottle adds a note of elegance and exclusivity to this feminine scent.
