Introduced in 2008, Chloe Eau de Parfum is an oriental floral feminine fragrance, developed by perfumers Amandine Marie and Michel Almairac. This floral scent is regarded as the more powerful version of the classic Chloe, launched in 1975, and in the same time an intention toward broadening the company’s audience into younger age groups. The character of the fragrance preserves the femininity, however with an audacity touch that captivates the beholder.
Chloe Eau de Parfum exhibits a pleasant projection, based on the floral accords that confer it an understated elegance. My wife discovered this fragrance during a visit to a Sephora store (I admit that I never felt the urge to sample it), because she was attracted by its presentation and upon testing it, Chloe Eau de Parfum revealed its pleasant facet, as an unforgettable classic perfume.
The scent opens with intoxicating accords of freesia infused with peony and litchi. Then, as times passes by, the hearts unveils a sensuous note of Rose in a blend with magnolia and Lily-of-the-Valley. For the final part, this elegant construction dries down to warm woody trail, filled with Virginia cedar and amber.
Chloe Eau de Parfum was presented in a rectangular shaped bottle that resembles with a jewelry box. The metallic rim in the upper part (engraved with the brand’s name) and the large beige ribbon are the two parts that complete this fine image. The video advertisement features the model Anja Rubik and the actresses ClémencePoésy and Chloé Sevigny in a black and white film that emphasize the glamorous character of the perfume. With its versatile personality, Chloe Eau de Parfum represents a perfect signature scent imbued with personality.
