Fragrance Review

This time the flanker is matching the original. There is something captivating about the image of this fragrance that I cannot define. I love Pour Homme, but the accords of this scent are taking everything to another level. Homme Sport was introduced by in 2004, as a fragrance developed by their house perfumer, . Five years it took to Mr. Polge, to come up with this excellent scent, “A casual, brisk fragrance spiked with heightened notes of freshness and sensuality. Dynamic scent to spray generously all over the body”, as mentioned in the description from the official website.

With carefully employed ingredients and his passion for quality, Jacques Polge plunges with Allure Homme Sport into a new freshness that I’ve sensed since my first contact. The perfume sits nicely on the skin and reveals its citrus aldehydic character. The first accords of Allure Homme Sport represent a blend of , aldehydes, orange and aquatic notes. Then, in the middle development, these notes are replaced by a combination of neroli, Madagascar black pepper and Atlas cedar. The theme of the multi-facetted construction that debuted with Allure and Allure Homme is reinterpreted here by Jacques Polge in a more sensual way. The dry down employs a mixture of vetiver, Tonka bean and white musk, all wrapped around warm amber.

Allure Homme Sport comes in a bottle that was inspired by the classic watch, having a simple and elegant image, built around its squared shape. The glass employed has an opaque metallic-gray color and the black rubber cap with metallic ring adds to its dynamic character. The video advertisement for the fragrance was shot in The Moorings Islamorada, and features the Spanish male model sailing. Overall, Allure Homme Sport is a fragrance for a dynamic man that oozes with sensuality.
