Fragrance Review

In 2003, when presented Amor Amor, they inaugurated a large opportunity for flankers, given that such type of classic perfume is not supposed to rely solely on its success. As a result, the market was invaded with a lot of variations having as starting point this beguiling feminine fragrance.

Much later, in March 2009, Cacharel was introducing Amor Amor Sunrise a feminine announced as “an explosion of freshness and fruits” for a “torrid summer”, according to the official press release. This new was meant as a fresh and juicy accessory for the hot summer, due to its abundant combination of fruits.

When I asked my wife to help me by testing Amor Amor Sunrise on her wrist, I had in my olfactory memory the smell of the original and I admit I was not expecting too much of this new re-iteration. Instead I discover a perfectly wearable feminine perfume for the warmest period of the year, ideal for any group of age, as long as you love your fragrances fresh.

Amor Amor Sunrise begins on a refreshing cocktail from which you will detect almost instantaneously the aroma of grapefruit, juxtaposed to raspberry sorbet. Then, in no more than 10 minutes, the scent evolves into the mid development phase, in which it is featured the unmistakable accord of rose, joined by a note of pineapple. After more than 1 hour and a half, this summer creation dries down to a warm concoction that encompasses notes of patchouli, amber and musk.

The bottle that contains Amor Amor Sunrise was made from white opaque glass and comes adorned with a flower painted in a pink-orange hue that reminds of the original image. In the lower part of the flacon, the name of the fragrance appears written in the same color scheme.
