This is one classic fragrance that defines the exquisite character of Bvlgari creations in the fine art of jewelry, since “this contemporary fragrance interprets the intensity of the precious fine jewelry world and translates it into a delicate harmony of floral and feminine scents”, as putted in the official website. The perfume was initially launched in 1994 as a floral sensual developed by a team of 2 perfumers Sophia Grojsman and Nathalie Lorson, and in 2006 Bvlgari considered a re-launch with a more ample design was necessary.
Bvlgari Pour Femme is among my favorite feminine perfumes from Bvlgari and every time I asked my wife to sample it, it offered me a beguiling sensation that is simply overpowering. From the outset, this perfume smells like a soft bouquet of flowers, followed in a couple of minutes by a sensual and very feminine mid development, which eventually dries down to a powdery-musky base that leaves a powerful trail on the skin.
Bvlgari Pour Femme top notes are violet leaves, bergamot and orange blossom; its heart is Sambac jasmine, mimosa and rose; and base notes are musk, sandalwood and iris. The rose accord emplpyed in the structure of Bvlgari Pour Femme is reinterpreting a classic floral theme by juxtaposing it to the iris note, in a way that provides a base which is memorable for your olfactory reminiscence.
The flacon that contains Bvlgari Pour Femme is represented by the house’s signature bottle, having a color scheme which is closer to yellow and topped by a golden stopper, whose shade is extended also to the bottle’s neck. The face selected for the advertising campaign is the famous English supermodel Kate Moss, featured in a black and white short film that highlights the refined class of this fragrance.
