An addition to Bvlgari’s Omnia feminine fragrance line, Omnia Green Jade was introduced in February 2009. This scent, which is a flanker to 2003’s Omnia, belongs to the floral fruity olfactory group and was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas. The description from the official website mentions that “this elegant and truly feminine signature is a crisp floral green fragrance evoking the memory of an early morning in spring”.
As I couldn’t imagined much from this depiction, I asked my wife to assist me in sampling Omnia Green Jade. Not only because it was created by Alberto Morillas, who authored all the scents from the Omnia line, but to assess as well which one of the Omnia Line will be classified as my favorite.
Omnia Green Jade opens on a combination of spring water and green mandarin. Later, as the fragrance moves into the mid development phase, the initial tones are balanced by a combination of pear-tree flower, nasturtium, white peony and jasmine petals. Finally, after a couple of hours, the base brings an interesting facet of fresh pistachio and white wood musk.
The shape of the bottle that holds Omnia Green Jade is faithful to the Omnia line, the silhouette of precious stone being painted in a soft green shade. The video advertising is dominated by same jade shade which is present on the bottle. The conclusion is that Omnia Green Jade is my favorite fragrance from its line, as a scent aimed at “a modern young woman with a bewitching innocence”, according to the press release.
