Bvlgari Omnia Coral is the most recent flanker to 2003’s Omnia, from a series that included chronologically 2005’s Omnia Crystalline, 2006’s Omnia Amethyste and 2009’ Omnia Green Jade. The fragrance was introduced in March 2012 as a feminine floral fruity developed by same perfumer who authored the previous editions, Alberto Morillas.
On the official website, Omnia Coral is described as a fragrance “inspired by the shimmering hues of precious red coral” and to me it was interesting how the first thing that came into my mind, upon sniffing the perfume on my wife’s wrist, was the red color.
The opening of Omnia Coral comes as a blend of refreshing aroma of fruits: goji berry (wolfberry) and bergamot. Then, in no more than 15 minutes, the scent advances into its mid development phase, in which you will perceive the gentle floral aroma of hibiscus and lily, offset by an invigorating note of pomegranate. The dry down phase takes place after 1 hour and a half and brings forward the sensual combination of cedar and musk.
The flacon that contains the fragrance is represented by Omnia’s signature bottle, thus time re-interpreted in a red hue, an image that mixes the elegance of a bottle evoking a jewel and the passion transmitted by the color scheme. The video advertisement is very suggestive, featuring provocative images of models in water, every one of these models corresponding to a perfume from the Omnia series.
Overall, Omnia Coral is a very pleasant fragrance, an interesting accessory for this summer one of the most likable from the series.
