Fragrance Review

The third flanker to 2005’s appeared on the market last summer. Bearing the name Marine Toniq, this is an masculine fragrance developed by the same perfumer that authored the first 2 scents, . The description from the official site mentions that this new fragrance is “a concentrate of freshness crystallized in a drop of Aqva” and that’s exactly what I sensed as soon as I tested the ’s new creation.

I must admit that enjoyed the smell of the original Aqva at the moment of its introduction, the only thing that prevented me from buying it was the rounded shaped of the bottle, which seemed to me wrong at that time. These days my level of tolerance has increased and this is a good sign for the future acquisitions.

Analyzed from the ingredients point of view, the opening of Aqva Pour Homme Marine Toniq is a blend of and . Then, as the top notes begin to vanish, the heart unveils a watery mix of Posidonia frozen water, followed by icy and water notes. The base encompasses a sensual combination of and white cedar that confers to the scent a combined component of strength and clarity.

The bottle of Aqva Pour Homme Marine Toniq comes with an opaque metallic scheme, different from the clear chromatic exhibited by the original perfume. The packaging box preserves the perfect elegant shape present in the first 2 iterations. This new fragrance is more appropriate during the scorching summer days or the late spring, inviting you to take a damp in the sheer refreshing liquid.
