Fragrance Review

Silver Black was introduced by in 2005 as a masculine scent, developed by perfumer . In the , the same fragrance was dubbed , probably because the marketing team considered this name to have more resonance. On the official website, Silver Black is advertised as a “contemporary, chic and insolent, born to seduce” perfume and its seductive facet is revealed upon the first contact with it.

I felt fascinated by Silver Black at the time of its introduction on the market and I was very close to buying it. If you analyze its image, it is like Azzaro had taken the masculine elegance of its classic, Azzaro Pour Homme and bestow it over this contemporary scent, preserving untouched the classic feel and the fascination. When you will test it on your skin, you will enjoy its top notes, which are a blend of green apples, bergamot, lime and aldehyde. After this initial stage, the heart follows with a spicy facet, dominated by coriander, in a mixture with caraway, cypress, cardamom and juniper. For the last part, the combination of cedar, musk, vetiver, and amboxan will feel absolutely pleasant on the skin.

Silver Black comes in a bottle that replicates the shape of the classic Azzaro Pour Homme, minus the color scheme, which is an , evoking a piece of . The type of glass makes almost impossible viewing the liquid’s color, however in association with the silver upper rim (employed as a support for fragrance name) makes a refined image. Overall, Silver Black is the ideal fragrance for a seductive man, characterized by a classic fashion style.
