Introduced in March 2009 as a spicier and lushier version of the initial Eau de Toilette, Attitude Extreme is an oriental spicy fragrance from Giorgio Armani. Since we already discussed in here that I am not a fan of the original fragrance from 2007, I was looking forward to test Attitude Extreme, mainly because the black chromatic reminded me of Armani Code, one of the two scents that are my favorites from Armani.
Having the hopes set so high, it’s needles to say that my impression was positive this time, the development of the fragrance and its projection on my skin convinced me that it deserves the attention (careful, because I said ‘attention’, not a probable acquisition). Anyway, the first accords were more than favorable, the refreshing lemon was intoxicating and after a couple of minutes I perceived as well the presence of anise and cardamom. When these first notes faded away, the stimulating coffee, elegant cedar and benzoin entered the stage for an unmistakable character. Later, in the dry down, the warm amber combined with patchouli evoked a burning night spent close to the fire place.
Fabien Baron, the designer who created the bottle for Attitude Extreme was inspired by Art Deco, with a shape that reminds of a lighter which appears to be carved from onyx. The black theme, always an inspiration for elegance and sensuality captivates the beholder and could motivate the buying decision. Overall, I’ll say that this flanker to Armani Attitude might be a wise selection for an optimistic evening that concludes with a night spiced with passion.
